Will you travel?

We provide as much or as little service as you want. For smaller projects — such as simple advice on colors or room arrangement — we charge a consultation fee of $90 per hour. It's amazing what can be accomplished in an hour or two. For larger assignments, we work on a retainer, based on the scope of the project.

Do you take on small projects — such as one or two rooms?

Yes. I usually take on approximately 20-plus of these assignments each year. My clients always are amazed at what a difference a redesign of a few rooms can make to the livability of the entire home.

What about specific features, such as window treatments, wall coverings or paint selections? Will you take on these types of projects, and how do you charge?

With projects like these, I usually go with an hourly fee because it's not a huge investment of time. In my opinion, changing color in a room is the most dramatic transformation of any other update.

We moved into our house, and I made a total mess of decorating. Help!
